Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Prepare Cabbage: Remove bruised leaves, rinse, and finely shred the cabbage into strips.
  2. Prepare Apples: Core and dice apples into ½-inch pieces. Toss with lemon juice.
  3. Add Other Ingredients: Mix dried cranberries, shredded carrots, and red onion into the mixture.
  4. Toast Nuts: In a skillet, toast walnuts or sunflower seeds over medium-low heat for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Make Dressing: Whisk mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, vinegar, mustard, syrup, celery seeds, salt, and pepper.
  6. Combine: Toss the cabbage, apples, cranberries, and nuts with two-thirds of the dressing.
