  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic minced
  • 8 oz Cremini Mushrooms sliced
  • ½ cup Dry White Wine
  • 1 cup Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoon All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
For the Garnish
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Parsley chopped
  • ¼ cup Parmesan Cheese optional
  • ¼ cup Sun-Dried Tomatoes recommended
  • to taste Red Pepper Flakes optional

Method
 

Step 1: Prepare the Chicken
  1. In a large bowl, combine cubed chicken breasts with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
Step 2: Sear Chicken
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat, adding a splash of olive oil once hot. Add the seasoned chicken cubes and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
Step 3: Sauté Aromatics
  1. In the same skillet, add more olive oil if needed and toss in the chopped onion. Cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until translucent.
Step 4: Add Garlic and Mushrooms
  1. Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Then, add sliced cremini mushrooms and sauté for 8-10 minutes.
Step 5: Deglaze with Wine
  1. Pour in the dry white wine, scraping the bottom of the skillet to deglaze. Allow to simmer for 2-3 minutes.
Step 6: Combine Chicken Broth and Flour
  1. Whisk together chicken broth and flour until no lumps remain. Gradually add this mixture to the skillet, stirring continuously.
Step 7: Finish the Sauce
  1. Reduce heat to low, stir in heavy cream and butter, mixing until fully incorporated. Adjust seasoning.
Step 8: Combine Chicken and Sauce
  1. Return the seared chicken to the skillet, stirring gently to coat in the sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Step 9: Garnish and Serve
  1. Remove from heat and sprinkle freshly chopped parsley and Parmesan cheese over the top. Serve hot.
