For Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Parsley Optional for presentation.

Equipment

  • large skillet
  • Pot

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with smoked paprika, salt, and pepper, and sear for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden brown. Remove from skillet and set aside to rest.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add Worcestershire sauce, Italian herbs, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Stir and let the sauce simmer for 3-4 minutes until thickened.
  3. Return the chicken to the skillet, ensuring it's submerged in the creamy sauce. Cover and cook for 15-20 minutes until chicken reaches 165°F.
  4. While chicken simmers, cook rice according to package instructions. Bring water to a boil and add rice, cooking for about 15-18 minutes until fluffy. Drain excess water.
  5. Remove skillet from heat, and plate by spooning sauce over rice and placing chicken on top. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
