- Rinse and pat dry white fish fillets. In one bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika; in another, beat an egg. Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
- Dredge fish in flour mixture, dip into beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry fish fillets for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Toast burger buns in a skillet until golden and crisp, about 2 minutes.
- Assemble the burger with a fish fillet, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce on the toasted bun.
