For the Burger

  • 4 leaves Leafy Lettuce Substitute with zesty slaw if desired.
  • 1 large Tomato Choose ripe varieties for added flavor.
  • 1 cup Tartar Sauce Try spicy mayo or avocado for an exciting twist.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Rinse and pat dry white fish fillets. In one bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika; in another, beat an egg. Place breadcrumbs in a third bowl.
  2. Dredge fish in flour mixture, dip into beaten egg, then coat with breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry fish fillets for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Toast burger buns in a skillet until golden and crisp, about 2 minutes.
  5. Assemble the burger with a fish fillet, lettuce, tomato, and tartar sauce on the toasted bun.
