  • 1 lb Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tablespoon Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoon Sesame Oil for marinade and cooking

  • 8 oz Lo Mein Noodles or spaghetti as a substitute

  • 1 cup Bell Peppers sliced
  • 1 cup Mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup Carrots julienned
  • 1 cup Snow Peas

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Marinate the chicken by combining with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, ground ginger, garlic powder, and a pinch of white pepper. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Cook the lo mein noodles in boiling water until al dente, about 5-7 minutes. Drain and toss with sesame oil.
  3. Prepare the sauce by whisking together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and cornstarch. Add a few tablespoons of chicken broth.
  4. Stir-fry the marinated chicken in a heated wok with vegetable oil for 5-7 minutes until fully cooked.
  5. In the same wok, stir-fry the minced garlic, ginger, and mixed vegetables for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Combine the chicken, sauce, and noodles in the wok, tossing everything together for 2-3 minutes to heat through.
  7. Serve immediately, garnishing with green onions and optional sesame seeds or chili oil.
