  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or blended) use your favorite cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
For the Topping
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (optional) ensure Halal-friendly
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken, spinach, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and cheese. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 casserole dish, spreading it evenly.
  4. In a separate bowl, mix breadcrumbs with olive oil or melted butter. Coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the casserole and bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown and bubbling.
  6. Monitor the casserole during the last 10 minutes to prevent over-browning. Cover with foil if necessary.
