  • 750 ml Dry White Wine Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio
  • 2-3 pieces Green Apples Granny Smith or Honeycrisp
  • 1 cup Green Grapes Halved
  • ½ cup Apple Brandy Or Calvados as a substitute
  • ¼ cup Orange Liqueur Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • ¼ cup Simple Syrup Adjust for sweetness
  • 1-2 cups Sparkling Water or Club Soda For serving
  • Ice Ice Cubes To chill the sangria

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Wash the green apples thoroughly under cool running water, core them, and chop into ½-inch cubes. Set aside in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Wash the green grapes and cut them in half. Combine the grapes with the chopped apples in the bowl.
  3. In a large pitcher, transfer the apple and grape mixture.
  4. Pour in the apple brandy and orange liqueur over the fruits and stir gently to combine.
  5. Gradually stir in the simple syrup, adjusting to taste.
  6. Pour the dry white wine into the pitcher and stir gently to mix.
  7. Carefully mix all the ingredients to ensure even distribution of fruits.
  8. Refrigerate the sangria for at least 2 hours, ideally 4 hours for maximum flavor infusion.
  9. Stir in the sparkling water or club soda just before serving.
  10. Prepare serving glasses with ice cubes and pour the sangria over the ice.
  11. Garnish with apple slices, lime wedges, or mint sprigs before serving.
