- Start by bringing a large pot of water to a rolling boil over high heat. Once boiling, add a generous pinch of salt and your choice of pasta. Cook according to package instructions, usually 8-12 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add 4-6 minced garlic cloves and stir continuously for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Add the drained pasta directly into the skillet and toss well in the garlic butter. If it seems dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water and toss for 2-3 minutes.
