Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized cubes and combine with olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  2. Heat skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil, and sear chicken for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  3. Reduce heat, add onion to skillet, sauté for 3-4 minutes, then add garlic and mushrooms; cook until tender.
  4. Pour in dry white wine, deglaze the pan, and let simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  5. Whisk together chicken broth and flour, add to skillet, and simmer until sauce thickens.
  6. Stir in heavy cream and butter, season with salt and pepper.
  7. Combine seared chicken with sauce in skillet and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot over mashed potatoes or polenta.
