  • 1 cup Brown Sugar (packed) or coconut sugar

  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt

Preparation Steps
  1. Gather all ingredients and soak the rolled oats in milk or a non-dairy alternative for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8-inch round cake pan.
  3. Whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract.
  5. Stir in the oat and milk mixture into the wet ingredients.
  6. Fold the dry mixture into the wet mixture and then add the apples and dates.
