- Heat olive oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add cubed beef sirloin and sear for 5-7 minutes until browned, then remove and set aside.
- Lower heat and add chopped onion; sauté for 4-5 minutes until translucent. Then add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes.
- Add crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and broth. Stir in oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir and let simmer.
- Return the browned beef to the pot, cover, and let simmer for 1-2 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Bring a separate pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the orzo according to package directions.
- Stir cooked orzo into the beef mixture along with heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Mix until creamy.
- Serve immediately, garnished with parsley and extra Parmesan.
