For the Garlic Butter

For the Chicken Alfredo

  • 1 tablespoon Italian Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Use fresh garlic for better flavor.
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Alfredo Sauce Homemade preferred.
  • ½ cup Heavy Cream Can substitute with half-and-half or milk.
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese Cheddar or cheese blends can be used.

Method
 

Cooking Steps
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine butter, minced garlic, parsley, and Parmesan to make garlic butter.
  3. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise.
  4. Spread garlic butter over the cut sides of the bread.
  5. Sprinkle additional Parmesan over the buttered bread.
  6. Bake the bread halves for 10 to 12 minutes.
  7. While the bread bakes, season chicken pieces and cook in a skillet for 6 to 8 minutes.
  8. Add Alfredo sauce and heavy cream to the skillet, heating gently.
  9. Mix cooked chicken with the Alfredo sauce.
  10. Spoon chicken Alfredo mixture onto the baked garlic bread.
  11. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  12. Return to the oven and bake for an additional 5 to 7 minutes.
  13. Allow to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
