Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Pulse the chocolate wafers until fine crumbs. In a bowl, combine with melted butter, sugar, and salt. Press into pie plate.
  2. Bake for 8-10 minutes until set and fragrant. Let cool completely on a wire rack.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add peanut butter, then mix in powdered sugar, whipped cream, and vanilla until fluffy.
  4. Pour the peanut butter filling into the cooled crust and smooth the top. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours.
  5. Heat heavy cream for ganache and pour over chopped chocolate. Stir until smooth and glossy. Cool slightly and pour over filling.
  6. Return pie to the refrigerator for another 30 minutes to firm up the ganache.
  7. Garnish with peanuts, chocolate shavings, or peanut butter cups and serve chilled.
