  1. Season the shrimp with salt and pepper. Mince the garlic, chop the parsley, and zest the lemon.
  2. Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot. Cook linguine for 8-10 minutes until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water, drain, and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 2-3 minutes until pink and opaque. Set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, lower heat to medium and melt butter. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté for 30 seconds.
