Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Soften the cream cheese to room temperature, and drain the Rotel tomatoes thoroughly.
  2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese and drained Rotel tomatoes until smooth.
  4. Add the hot beef sausage and mix until evenly distributed.
  5. Gradually mix in Bisquick baking mix, shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and black pepper until combined.
  6. Form the mixture into 1 to 1.5-inch balls and place them on prepared baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown and internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  8. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before serving.
