- In a small bowl, combine warm water with active dry yeast and sugar. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour and salt until combined. Make a well in the center.
- Pour activated yeast mixture and olive oil into the well. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface and knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Place dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let it rise for 1-1.5 hours until doubled.
- While rising, mix mozzarella, provolone, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder in a bowl.
