  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • ¼ cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 cloves Garlic freshly minced
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil plus more for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme Leaves
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Rosemary chopped
  • ¼ teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes optional
  • 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper to taste
For Serving
  • 1 bag Baguette Slices or crackers
  • 1 cup Crackers and Crudités for crunch
  • 2 tablespoon Honey optional for drizzling
  • ¼ cup Toasted Walnuts optional for garnish

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Ensure goat cheese and cream cheese are softened at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine softened goat cheese and cream cheese, mixing until smooth.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and fold it into the cheese mixture until integrated.
  4. Stir in minced garlic, fresh thyme, rosemary, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  5. Season with salt and pepper to taste, mixing well.
  6. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Lightly grease an oven-safe dish with olive oil.
  8. Transfer the cheese mixture into the prepared baking dish, smoothing the top.
  9. Drizzle a little olive oil over the top of the mixture.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly and golden on top.
  11. Optional: Broil for 1-2 minutes for a golden crust.
  12. Let cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
  13. Garnish with toasted walnuts and honey if desired.
  14. Serve immediately with baguette slices, crackers, or crudités.
