- Season the chicken breasts with salt and black pepper. Preheat the grill or air fryer to medium-high heat (375°F). Grill or air fry chicken for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway, until the internal temperature reaches 165°F. Let rest before shredding.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened butter, minced garlic, parsley, and chives. Stir until creamy and well blended.
- Mix shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until evenly coated. Keep the mixture warm while toasting the buns.
- Butter the cut sides of slider buns and toast on a skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden.
- Spread garlic-herb butter on the bottom half of each bun, top with shredded BBQ chicken, and add cheese if desired. Top with the other half of the bun.
