  • 2 tablespoons Fajita Seasoning Homemade blend recommended
For the Veggies
  • 1 each Red Bell Pepper
  • 1 each Green Bell Pepper
  • 1 each Yellow Bell Pepper
  • 1 each Onion Red onion is preferred
  • 3 cloves Garlic Minced
For Cooking
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Or avocado oil
For Serving
  • 8 each Flour Tortillas Or whole wheat for a healthier option
  • ½ cup Chicken Broth Vegetable broth for vegetarian option
Optional Toppings
  • 1 cup Sour Cream
  • 1 cup Guacamole
  • 1 cup Salsa
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese Choose your favorite type
  • ¼ cup Cilantro Chopped

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Mix fajita seasoning in a small bowl and set aside.
  2. Cut chicken and veggies into thin, uniform strips.
  3. Combine chicken, seasoning, garlic, and broth in a bowl; marinate for 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Cooking
  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet, add marinated chicken, and cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  2. Add sliced peppers and onion; sauté for 8-10 minutes until tender-crisp.
  3. Combine chicken with sautéed veggies; heat for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Warm tortillas in microwave or skillet until soft.
  5. Assemble fajitas with chicken, veggies, and toppings in warm tortillas.
