Preparation Steps
- In a large mixing bowl, crumble the ground beef and sprinkle the Ranch dressing mix and Au Jus gravy mix over it. Use your hands or a fork to blend the spices into the beef gently.
- Add the water to the beef mixture and stir until just combined. Let the mixture rest for a few minutes.
- Divide the beef mixture into 8 equal portions, shape into patties with a slight indentation in the center.
- Wrap the formed patties in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, adding cheese in the last minute.
- Once cooked, transfer the patties to a plate and let them rest for a few minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with garlic powder. Brush the cut sides of your hamburger buns and toast them until golden.
- Layer your cooked Crack Burgers on the toasted buns and add your favorite toppings. Serve immediately.

Notes
For the best results, do not overmix the beef to keep the patties tender. Experiment with different cheeses and toppings to suit your taste.
