  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated; Pecorino Romano is a substitute

Step-by-Step Instructions for Marry Me Chicken
  1. Pat chicken breasts dry with paper towels. Dredge in seasoned all-purpose flour and set aside.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, warm olive oil and butter. Sear chicken for about 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  3. In the same skillet, lower heat and add shallots and garlic. Sauté until shallots are translucent.
  4. Pour in chicken broth, scrape bits from pan and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. Stir in heavy cream and sun-dried tomatoes. Simmer until thickened, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Add Parmesan cheese to the sauce. Return chicken to skillet and sprinkle with fresh basil.
