Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a mixing bowl, combine chicken with soy sauce, cornstarch, sesame oil, ground ginger, garlic powder, and white pepper. Mix well and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Prepare the Noodles: Bring water to a boil, add lo mein noodles and cook for 3–5 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water, tossing with sesame oil.
  3. Make the Sauce: Whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, brown sugar, cornstarch, chicken broth, ground ginger, garlic powder, and optional red pepper flakes.
  4. Stir-Fry Chicken: In a wok, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add marinated chicken and stir-fry for 5–7 minutes until cooked through. Set aside.
  5. Cook Vegetables: In the same wok, stir-fry minced garlic and ginger until fragrant. Add bell peppers, mushrooms, and carrots, stir-frying for 3–4 minutes. Add snow peas and cook until bright green.
  6. Combine: Return the chicken to the wok, pour in the sauce and stir well for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Toss in Noodles: Add the prepared noodles to the wok and gently mix for 2–3 minutes until everything is well combined.
