  • 4 fillets Salmon wild-caught for best flavor
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil to prevent sticking
For the Glaze
  • ¼ cup Honey or maple syrup for vegan option
  • 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce use low-sodium for less salt
  • 2 cloves Minced Garlic or garlic powder as substitute
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Grated Ginger or ground ginger in lesser amounts
For Grilling
  • 1 cup Pineapple fresh preferred, canned acceptable
  • ¼ cup Cilantro for garnish, optional
  • 2 wedges Lime for serving

Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, sriracha, and grated ginger. Set aside the glaze.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel, then season with salt and pepper. Place fillets skin-side down on a plate.
  3. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat, adding olive oil. Once shimmering, the oil is ready for cooking the salmon.
  4. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the grill or skillet. Cook undisturbed for 4-5 minutes, then brush with glaze, flip, and cook for another 3-4 minutes.
  5. Grill pineapple rings for about 2-3 minutes per side until caramelized. Watch closely to avoid burning.
  6. Drizzle remaining glaze over the salmon and serve alongside grilled pineapple. Garnish with cilantro and lime wedges.
